Women for Franken

As the two most important women in Al's life, we'd like to welcome you to Women for Franken. You might already know Al as a comedian, an author, and an activist. But we know him as a husband and father who's always stood tall for our family, and we know he'll be a Senator who always stands up for Minnesota. We're so proud to have great leaders like Margaret Anderson Kelliher, Rebecca Otto, Joan Growe, and Judi Dutcher standing with us – and we'd like to invite you to join, as well. So please take a moment to sign up, invite your friends to join, and we'll be seeing you on the campaign trail soon!

Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher

As a mom and a legislator, I know that while a U.S. Senator can't raise our kids for us or make there be more hours in the day, a Senator CAN be a partner in Washington. We have one in Amy Klobuchar. And Al Franken will be another. Al will fight to stop the giveaways to corporate special interests and work to pass middle-class tax cuts. He'll work to expand policies that will help Minnesota families send a kid to college or care for an elderly parent. He'll work to change course in Iraq, so that we can invest in good jobs and safe infrastructure here in Minnesota. And he'll be a champion for universal, accessible, affordable, quality health care and great public schools.

-Speaker of the House Margaret Anderson Kelliher
State Auditor Rebecca Otto

As the state auditor, I'm in charge of watching where your money goes. But as a mother, I'm in charge of watching our family's books, too. I know how hard it can be for Minnesota families to make ends meet. That's why I'm so excited about having a Senator who will stand with Amy Klobuchar and fight for the working people of this state. “Women's issues” aren't just about equal pay and ending domestic violence. They're about health care for our families, great schools for our kids, and helping us balance our careers and our families. I'm proud to serve as a co-chair of Women for Franken – and I hope you'll join us!
