Volunteer Carla Pardue
Hi, my name is Carla and I am a volunteer with the Al Franken for Senate campaign.
I had become familiar with Al and his positions on the campaign trail. I heard him speak at several events and rallies for progressive candidates that were running for office, and I was impressed by his dedication and passion for helping get them elected.
When he announced his candidacy, I was thrilled, and immediately went on line and signed up to volunteer. I have been coming in to help out here ever since, about a year now.
Al embodies the progressive ideals that I hold so dear. I have gotten to know him and his family well, and I can tell you: He is the real deal, a man of conviction, who will fight for what is right when he goes to Washington.
He will make a difference in the Senate, and I feel like I am helping to make a difference by coming here and volunteering. Everyone here at the office is so committed and passionate – it’s inspiring. I love coming here because it gives me hope.
